Dee Safieh:
Hi! My name is Dee from The Beauty of Our Dreams. I work with empath entrepreneurs and I'm here with Tracy from Miss Pretty London.
Tracey Pretty:
Hi. Today we're going to be doing a podcast on our first phase of the moon cycle, new moon. I'm going to be guiding you through what the new moon is, what it means. Explain a few little bits that you can do in this phase. We will go into a little bit of astrology. And also I found some really interesting stuff, Dee, on eclipses and black moon, which I didn't know prior to researching this. I'm going to start from the very beginning. And I'm sorry if this is repeating some of what's in our other podcast. But just to explain how the moon cycle works, The moon has eight phases kind of goes round in a wheel. So they flow into each other quite nicely, but there is a beginning and an end and the beginning is what we call new moon. And it's when you go out, then you can't see the moon in the sky at all. So it's a very dark phase. You can't see it doesn't mean it's not that it's just that the sun's position to the moon is not reflecting on it. The moon doesn't have any gas on it.
Dee:
The moon, I know this one. I like the science-y bit. I mean, to a certain extent, I don't have a PhD or anything, but it's when the moon is in between the earth and the sun. So it means that the reflective side, the illuminated side of the moon, i.e. bit that the sun is reflecting its sunlight off of, is not facing the earth. So we can only see the dark side.
Tracey:
So the sun is kind of hiding behind the moon.
Dee:
Whereas when you have a full moon, the moon is on the other side of the earth from the sun, meaning that the sun is reflecting off the side of the moon, that we can see.
Tracey:
So we see the whole thing.
Dee:
So we can see the illuminated side,
Tracey:
Thank you, Dee. So glad to explain that it's a bit of a minefield. Maybe we could put a diagram on our website because once you see it in picture form, it makes perfect sense. Look up to the sky when it's new moon, and you won't see anything, which is why it's quite a dark, mysterious time maybe associated with a bit of mystery. But really the meaning of it, isn't that all. I like to see new moon, because it's the start of the cycle as my mini new year's eve where I like to prep to meet my intentions for the next lunar phase, the next 30 days.
Dee:
Start fresh, clean slate, new intentions.
Tracey:
New intentions, really write your to-do list and think about what you want to achieve for the next up and coming month. So it's not really a yearly thing because the moon has a monthly cycle. A new moon will only last about two to three days, and there would only be one day really when you're at a hundred percent new moon during those days. So really have to think about your short term goals, what you want to achieve.
Dee:
It's really good at this point to think about what your new year's resolutions were or your short-term goals were and break it down into sort of more bite-sized chunks. So if you've got a short, medium long-term goal, what do you need to do during this upcoming lunar phase this upcoming month to get you closer to achieving that goal?
Tracey:
So you split it into 12 sections almost. So you need to reach a certain stage in a project. They might not be complete next it's only a month and it be realistic. If it's a massive project, you're not going to squeeze it all into a month, but you can aim to get to a certain stage and that's going to move you forward to keep you motivated. And it could be work. It could be home. It could weight loss.
Dee:
Say you want to lose 10 kilos in a year. So you break that down. I didn't pick an easy number to break it to divided to 12, but you know that, so that means your monthly goal would be about one kilo.
Tracey:
Make sure it is achievable.
Dee:
Exactly, achievable. And then just look breaking it down. Also makes the whole goal seem more achievable, right? Like designing a new website, starting a new business, writing a book. All of these are quite big things and we might have hopes to do them, but they seem too big. And it's only when you break it down a bit and you decide what the next steps are and you break it down into bite size chunks and decided a new moon. What are you going to do this month? That it feels more achievable and doable.
Tracey:
And how good is it to mentally do that as well for a project? It can be really overwhelming if you look at the big picture, but you can tell Dee’s the business consultant, I love the way you're thinking that you break it down and all of a sudden it becomes manageable and achievable, and you actually feel good about yourself because you've ticked off a mini section.
Dee:
And how good is that for your motivation to carry on going as well? You know, once you get started on a project and you realise that it's not as bad as you feared it would be, and you're seeing some results and some outcomes. And so you're like, yeah, let's keep on going with this. It feels good doing it.
Tracey:
Do it in manageable chunks. Our next podcast is actually going to be called mini moon because it's a very small, shorter one where we talk about the next phase, which is waxing crescent. But really in the moon cycle, it’s only going to be for the first two weeks that you're going to be driven and productive. We'll explain this as we go through the series. So I talked about a month to do things, your production for new moon is really two weeks. And then the other two weeks are more reflection. So it's cutting it down even further and write your goals, really, if you're going to be writing or doing anything, which uses the brain, two weeks it really your goal.
Dee:
I kind of think of the new moon as the spring, that spring vibe of feeling motivated, excited, wanting to get on and do things. And then the full moon onwards is kind of more the autumn winter time where you're kind of hibernating a bit, reflecting, planning in your mind, what you want to do next year, what you want to change for the next year.
Tracey:
Yeah. And if you do that right then by the time you hit new moon again, you're ready, your energy's right. If you don't use the second part of the cycle to rest, and you fight it, and we'll talk about it more when we do the detail phases, I think by the time you hit new moon, a lot of people can mention during new that they feel quite tired. They feel quite drained. But I personally think that if you use the previous phase to rest, you should be ready for new moon.
Do you know what I do? I always feel like I need to clean my house a little bit. Like that Sunday evening prior to work on a Monday morning, you make sure that your fridge is stocked. Your house is ready. Maybe plan your work outfit if you're super organised, your washing's done. So when you're working week starts on a Monday, you’re prepped and you're going to have a good productive week. Kind of like that with new moon, but it's over two weeks. So just give yourself like a really good headstart, make sure you're ready.
Dee:
I always do a sage at the new moon.
Tracey:
A bit of smudging.
Dee:
I make sure that I have a little bit of a clear up in my workspace, so that I'm getting rid of all of those distractions and I'm just ready to go because I feel like being productive. And I want to make sure that that productive, motivation energy is going into something useful and not just procrastinating.
Tracey:
Yeah. Getting rid of all the old energy as well for your past cycles. I think the key word when new mean is fresh start, setting goals, intentions, ready to drive forward in that next phase. And lucky us, we get 12 new meetings a year, usually once a month. So it works quite nicely. Like you said of breaking things up into 12 bite-size chunks, so you could do a big project through the year.
Dee:
I think of it as a time for forgiveness as well. Whatever happened in the last lunar cycle, let's learn from it and move on. Let's not beat ourselves up anymore. If we didn't achieve our goals or if something went wrong, we've learned from it during the introspective time before the new moon. And again, like I said, clean slate, let's just pick ourselves up.
Tracey:
So, Dee, have you heard of a black moon?
Dee:
I think we talked about this before, but it's not the same as the dark moon?
Tracey:
No.
Dee:
Oh, then I don't know what a black moon means!
Tracey:
Actually, it's a little bit of a minefield because black moon can have multiple meanings, but in terms of a new moon, when they say once in a blue moon, it's quite a rare event and there's actually a black moon as well. So some years, you have 13 new moons because the solar system and time and things are moving a little bit, things need to catch up. And so there's an extra moon added in.
Dee:
So is a black moon always a new moon?
Tracey:
Yeah.
Dee:
So every year, you have either 12 full moons and 13 new moons or 12 new moons and 13 full moons. So basically there's 25 new/full moons every year.
Tracey:
So an extra full moon is called a blue moon and an extra new moon if called a black moon.
So there's a lot of songs about blue moons, and you say ‘once in a blue moon.’ That means the new moon’s equivalent, but people probably don't take as much notice because you can’t see it. It's not really noticeable cause it's not there. But also the black moon has of the meanings in spirituality as well. The main one is that you have this extra one a year. But it can also refer to the absence of a new moon. So just like time catching up on itself sometimes a month doesn't have a new moon. Again, it's called a black moon.
In terms of what they actually spiritually mean, black moon stays the same. You still set your intentions on it. or not.
Tracey:
I've made the list of things to do on a new moon. And one of them I think is really lovely, which I've never tried, but I will now, is lighting a candle. It's the darkest night of the month with the moon not being there, but lighting a candle, it shows intentions that you plan to bring light into your life. How lovely is that?
Dee:
It's really nice. And what you guys can't see is that Tracey's just given me a candle and we are in the new moon cycle!
Tracey:
So light your candle tonight day. It's just a really nice sort of ritual signify welcoming the light. Because tomorrow as we move through, the moon will come back and you’re welcoming the phase. So really nice symbol today.
Also says to start with the new, which we suggested with your goal or meet someone new as well, embrace like lots of new people coming into your life. You may, as fate leads us down the path, have opportunities to go on meetings, on dates. So stay really open to having new people.
It's also the most fertile day of the month. So I'll leave that one to your imagination. And it says to make a list of actions and goals, which we've talked about.
Spells. Now we are not big on spells.
Dee:
We've always said that we, like our little rituals and so forth, but I got to, either of us are chanting spells. Are we? Me, partly because I never remember anything. So I can't.
Tracey:
I'm so cared of doing them wrong as well. I think we should do maybe a podcast on the laws of spells, because when you do spells, there’s so much you need to be mindful about. it's not nice to change the mindset and involve others, what you wish for could bounce back on you. There's a lot in spirituality to do with spell work, which is why I like to try and avoid them. Because if you're not confident with this direction, I think you have to be very careful.
Dee:
Let's get an expert in to teach us.
Tracey:
Have you watched the film The Butterfly Effect, Dee? To me, it feels like we all have a path. We all have a destiny. And by adding a spell, sometimes that can be enhancing in your destiny and your path, which is perfect. But then you have to be careful by changing it. the butterfly effect, it's the concept that by just squashing a butterfly can have a huge effect on your future.
Dee:
I think it is the butterfly flying and fluttering its wings that has an effect. I like how you have changed it to when you crush it with your bare hands.
Tracey:
That explains my mood today. I see it as if time travel and you killed a butterfly in the past and then went back to your future, you'd be in a whole different world just by changing that one little thing. To me, that's how spells feel a little bit. By doing one thing, one spouse could have a massive impact on your life.
Dee:
I only wished to manifest a sandwich and all of a sudden I've killed a man.
Tracey:
If you are a spell person and if you're positive with the spells you do, or you're confident with them, this is a very busy period for affirmations around positive change and manifesting your dreams and making your wishes come true. New moon spot on the calendar to do them.
But there’s things to avoid as well. And it's the opposite to what we pretty much said on the to-do list. So don't avoid new opportunities. Don't avoid meeting new people. If you've been invited to a party or a meeting, say yes, because this is the time where the universe, fate, destiny wants you to do this. And by avoiding that, you're closing yourself off to these opportunities.
Dee:
Can I just jumped in and say that this reminds me of a book that I read called The Yes Man. They made a film, but the film did not, from memory, follow the book religiously. And I don't remember the film being as good as the book, but the book is basically a guy, Danny Wallace. He pledges to say yes to any opportunity, any question that comes up because he realises he's stuck in a rut.
Tracey:
Even if he doesn’t want to do it? Even if it is his worse nightmare?
Dee:
Pretty much. It’s an autobiography of this guy for this one year where he's pledged to say yes. So it's true story. And it just goes on about all of his adventures that he's gone through as a result of saying yes to things he would have ordinarily said no to. And obviously this is an extreme case, we're not saying that people should say yes to everything, but try to stay open during this time.
Tracey:
Yeah. I think that's it. Exactly. I mean, life is what you make there. And that reminds me similar to Darren Brown's concept of luck. If you believe you're unlucky, then you're not going to open yourself up to playing the lottery. You're not going to look around for opportunities. You're not going to enter competitions. You're not going to look on the floor for the £20 note that someone's dropped. If you believe in luck, then you open up to more.
Dee:
Exactly. The doors are open to you. And sorry, I'm going to interrupt again with another little exercise that I love doing with people. I went to a self-compassion day retreat with The Fat Funny One, Jess. That's what she calls herself. That's not me being a dick. She is really funny. She is not fat at all, but that's her name, her stage name. And she did this amazing day retreat and the lady that was presenting. She made us do this exercise. I want us all to do this exercise. Now, if you're listening at home or whatever close your eyes. Tracey, close her eyes. I can see they're open. Now. Tell me one red thing that's in your environment.
Tracey:
Well, that's tricky because we're in the garden. Oh! Your nails, Dee.
Dee:
They’re pink. But I'll allow it. That was quite difficult because you weren't looking for a red thing.
Now, open your eyes again, look around and find a yellow thing. Look around until you found the yellow thing and then close your eyes once you've seen it. Right. You've got your eyes closed. So what is the yellow thing?
Tracey:
Charlie. My dog. Okay.
Dee:
Yeah. She kind of a beigey colour, I will allow that also, but that was easier because you were looking out for it. Right? You were looking for the yellow thing. So you saw the yellow thing.
It's the same with positive experiences, positive thoughts, negative experiences, and so forth. If you have got that negative mindset and you're looking out for the negative, you were more likely to see it. Exactly. And if you're looking for positives, if you're looking for opportunities, then you're more likely to notice them when they actually turn up.
Tracey:
That’s a lovely way of thinking. It’s the Law of Attraction!
Dee:
Because it means you're open to it. You're looking for it. You're creating opportunities for it to happen. Like you say, you're buying the lottery ticket. You're not going to win the lottery unless you buy it to win it. It’s the same with all these other opportunities. You're creating these spaces for the good things to happen to you. Which again, very much new moon energy, right?
Tracey:
Take every opportunity that's given that feels right for you. But it says don't spend time around people who will drain your energy. So we're saying ‘say yes to everything’ and ‘take every opportunity’. You know, they're all going to be people out there who will take advantage of this new moon energy and will drain you.
Just avoid it during this stage, which makes perfect sense. You've gear yourself up. You're ready to start your goals. You're ready for the next two weeks. Don't let someone else's energy, maybe a friend, maybe a colleague, maybe a stranger, try and avoid it. Maybe a partner, protect yourself from it. Don't surround yourself by these negative field.
Dee:
Have your boundaries in place.
Tracey:
But surprisingly the list of to do's with the new moon is a lot more than a list of to don’ts, which I think summarises it. So Dee in our last episode touched on when the moon enters the different Zodiac signs. And if you haven't already, I suggest you give it a listen after this episode because it's fascinating how different new moon energies can feel when they enter new sign.
Dee:
I was just going to say that on our website as well, we've got fact sheets for each of the moons, the full moons and new moons in each of the different sides. So you can have a little look at the current one or the upcoming one and just compare them.
Tracey:
And keep a diary on the maybe because all of these 12th Zodiac signs, new moon is always going to be about new intentions, but they always have a different feel. So some of them may be new emotional intentions. Some of them may be career intentions. Some maybe life intentions, some may be love intentions. So I'm going to read that very quickly again of each sign, just as a reminder, but we do go into a lot more detail on the website about what crystals you need, aromas, suggested activities at that time, affirmations.
Dee:
And also just a reminder, if you sign up on our mailing list, you get these to your inbox at each of the new and full moons. So you don't have to worry about keeping track.
Tracey:
So are you ready? Here's my I'm going to read it quickly.
Aries new moon: time to take action, move forward and be courageous and bold. A super-productive time.
Taurus new moon: sorting out your material, possessions, your financial plans or money.
Gemini new moon: chatting, socialising, journaling
Cancer new moon: nurturing, self-care, spending time with family. It is quite an emotional one.
Leo new moon: it's time to show off and learn how to love yourself, and have a bit of self confidence.
Virgo new moon: time to get organised and take stock. Do your inventory, your to do less, get hold of your life.
Libra new moon: time to look at your partnerships and also find a bit of your self identity as well. Find your boundaries.
Scorpio new moon: time to healing, finding peace and coming to some conclusion
Sagittarius new moon: time to discover new things, new people, places, try new restaurant, book a holiday.
Capricorn new moon: making your mark, establishing traditions planning for the future.
Aquarius new moon: the future planner, the humanitarian, time to review like your social relationships and your purpose.
Pisces new moon: finding your spiritual side, good one to meditate. Creative. Dreamy. Good one to take a bath to.
Tracey:
Each new moon will be in one of those signs. Check out on our website what it is. It'll be in that sign for about three days. And that's the kind of theme, the taste, the story of what that new moon is.
Dee:
The characteristics of that moon. I like the thought of the moon having characteristics, traits, personality traits.
Tracey:
But it only stays in that sign for three days. So don't worry if it doesn't quite suit you, it will pass. We always say these stages pass.
Dee:
If you’ve got stuff on that list that kind of makes you shutter or cringe, like stocktaking, inventory, finances, then maybe you should look at planning it during that new moon where it will be more conducive to those activities because it'll go marginally easier. For example, if you try to do your accounts in Pisces, you're just like shooting yourself in the foot. Why make it harder for yourself?
So especially if you don't like the sound of some of those, try to do them in the period where it will be most conducive because you will have better luck.
Tracey:
That's exactly it. Just look at what it's doing. Look what the sign means and see how you're going to feel for those few days.
But we've also gone a bit further on new moon and we have done your new moon wishes.
Dee:
Oh I love them.
Tracey:
And the difference between new moon being in a sign and new moon wishes? When you read your horoscope in a magazine or maybe you've been lucky enough to have someone to your chart for the next year, this is the position of the planet, how they're aligned in their houses. We have taken that, simplified it, and it's just focused around your star sign.
We put them together and we created your new moon wishes, which would be your intentions, your theme for the next four weeks.
I would say in astrology, you don't have to do it. It's not written in stone, but it's like walking up a hill or walking down a hill. You can go up the hill. It might be a bit harder. You can go against the grain of what's in the stars or you can walk down it and follow the path and get to your destination a bit quicker.
Dee:
As we always say as well, we understand that not everyone works for themselves or lives on an island. So sometimes it can be hard to tell your boss, ‘Oh, I can't do this right now because new moon is in Cancer.’ Unless you have a, a boss who is equally as woo woo as you are.
It's just a guide. You can't live your life a hundred percent by these things because of all the external factors, but what you can plan and what you can influence, if you do it in tune with nature and the moon, it’s just easier.
Tracey:
As you were saying that, Dee, I was just thinking, look at us, we're recording a podcast, it's new moon in Cancer. We're both finding our communication quite emotional and difficult today, but we've had to do it because this is our schedule. And it's these challenges as well, which are helping me understand this moon. Rather than going with it, sometimes you will come up with challenges against it and you understand, ‘Oh, well this is the moon today, this is the phase it is in, these are the intentions. The challenges are just as good as going with them.
Dee:
It has been nice knowing, understanding that this might be a little bit of a challenging time to do a podcast recording, for example. So therefore we tell ourselves we're just going to be kind to ourselves. If it doesn't go to plan, if we need to abort mission, we're just going to be a little bit more forgiving with ourselves.
Also, I will say that we recorded the last two episodes during the waxing gibbous, when new moon was going into cancer, which is basically the worst time to do anything like this. We were literally emotional wrecks. We had a bunch of stuff going on personally because our defenses were low, because of the time of the moon phase, because of everything, we were quite emotional and we managed to overcome those challenges and actually record the episodes.
There was like a massive sense of achievement because we were aware that this was a difficult time to try this. We kind of pushed ourselves to do it on the understanding, on the personal pledge, that if it didn't go to plan, we wouldn't kill ourselves and beat ourselves up about it. But when we did it, we felt so good about ourselves.
And we now have multiple checks in place to make sure we turn on the microphone.
Tracey:
New moon wishes is your mini moon horoscope for the next four weeks. And to find that your moon wishes, go to the website. You go onto the moon wishes section, click on your star sign and then they’re there for you.
Dee:
So they change every four weeks on our website. So if you sign up to our mailing list as well, you'll get them straight to your inbox, personalised, based on your sun sign, star sign, whatever you call it. And so you don't have to keep track of all of this. We will just keep you posted.
Tracey:
Did you think the main could predict what's in store for you for four weeks? I didn't even have an understanding of that until I research for this podcast. The moon’s movement through the houses in relation to your star sign, has an intention for your mini future.
Dee:
It’s only paying more attention to what the moon's been doing that I realised how much it's influenced me. I always knew that it did but it's only going into more detail that you realise how much. And I thought that that would throw my life into chaos. Like how can I do anything, plan, anything, schedule anything when my whole persona is dictated by the moon? But actually I feel it's easier for me to plant things and do things because I'm more aware of when I should do things and when I shouldn't, or if I don't have a choice, I know when things might be a bit harder.
Tracey:
So there were only 12 houses and each house has a different theme. So one of them is going to be things around your financials or your money, one will be around your love. One of may be for social, one would be for relationships. So if you do choose to follow your new moon wishes every single month throughout the year, you're going to tick off each house. So for example, when the moon is in your second house, that's your financials. So if you're lucky or fortunate enough in your life to wait until your moon, which has pop up the moon is in your second house, that would be your month to do your accounts, to sort out your cash. Maybe if you need to be mortgage, anything to do with money, basically. A really good one to look out for is when it's in your 11th house. So on the website, keep checking. And when it comes up with your moon wishes is in your 11th house, this is your super moon wishes, Dee.
Dee:
I love the sound for super wishy moon.
Tracey:
Yeah. So the 11th house is the one that's associated with wishing and obviously new moon is about intentions; combine them together. And this is when the main and the position and your star sign are in the strongest to make the most strongest wishes possible. So if you have intentions in life, if you have a dream, save it for the 11th house.
Dee:
And on the moon wishes you very clearly state, if you are Aries, then your moon is in this house right now.
Tracey:
Right. And it changes ever single month.
Dee:
We will just spoonfeed you the information.
Tracey:
Unfortunately I can't tell you all, cause you're all different signs and the moon is in a different place and they would set up the whole podcast. But just keep checking on the website, sign up for the mailing list, they will be sent to you. And when you see the 11th house, make a note to that.
And another one is when it's in your seventh house, for love and relationship. So if you're single or if you're planning to get married or, you need to set some intentions around love, seventh house is when to do that.
So I hope that's explained the moon wishes and why they’re a little bit different to when the moon is entering a phase. When we talk about new moon in Cancer, that's just for three days. When we talk about moon wishes, this is guidance for the month, for the lunar cycle.
Eclipses, Dee!
This is a new one for me. I never really understood eclipses.
Dee:
So I'm sorry I have a million questions. Is it a solar eclipse or a lunar eclipse?
Tracey:
The new moon one is called a solar eclipse, and the full moon one is called a lunar eclipse.
So the solar eclipse is when the moon moves in front of the sun during the daytime causing it to go dark. I remember their being a solar eclipse and everyone rushing Cornwall, it was in 1999.
Dee:
I remember watching an episode of EastEnders about it, where Ian, took his family to Cornwell to watch it.
Tracey:
It was a big deal. People have been making things out of toilet rolls because the advice is not to look directly at it.
Dee:
The newspapers gave us glasses to wear. Was that the last one?
Tracey:
Well. The full one. So there are solar eclipses that happen quite a lot, but they're usually partial and they usually say them in a percentage. So you can have a 90% solar eclipse, 70%, where the sun and the moon will just cover each other partially. But to get that total darkness, the hundred percent…
Dee:
The total eclipse, as they say in the Jaffa Cake advert.
Tracey:
That happened in 1999. It depended on the place you were as well. And that's why everyone ran to Cornwall to get the full effect to that.
The next eclipse, which will be 90%, will be 2026.
Dee:
All right. I'll probably forget.
Tracey:
What do they mean? Well, to get your mindset a little bit into what an eclipse means spiritually, I'm going back to what the sun means. You know, it's driven, it's about your outer personality, it’s about what you project to the world, your masculine energy and it causes your drive and your ambition and for you to physically move forward. It's everything you see that you give out. And the new moon signifies ambitions, intentions, goals, and moving forward.
Combine those two together, an eclipse is the sun and the moon overlapping in the daytime. It means that it's going to trigger external changes first to me forward. So you've got the sun, which is the external part, the physical outer personality. And you've got the new moon, which is changes, and join them together. And there'll be external changes that you see. Actual physical things that you should see that will point you in the right direction. You know, when you get those little signs in life, fate, just means you're doing the right thing.
One of the physical signs I see is feathers, Dee. I can be talking about something really spiritual or emotional, particularly death, and sometimes I just see a white feather or it can float in front of me. And he's just that kind of physical reassuring that you’re on the right path or watching you.
Dee:
I can vouch for you, because several times I've been in your garden and feathers have appeared.
Tracey:
I was telling the about my feather experience. I can't remember what we were talking about and then Dee stood up and I don't know how it got there, but you would sat on a white feather that wasn't there before.
So when I talk about physical things, I don't mean like big, bold posters telling you you're on the right path. Just look out for little signs during the eclipse, because it's when they meet, we're awake as well, which is rare for the moon to do something and we are actually awake for it. So that's the meaning of a solar eclipse.
And we will go into lunar eclipses on the full moon episode.
And so I hope you've enjoyed my quick guide to the new moon, and our next little podcasts will be on the next phase of the moon, which is waxing crescent. Again, these last few days, that would be one of our mini dairies.
Dee:
And obviously the sort of in-between phases. We've got slightly less to say about them, hence the mini moons, but that's not to say they don't play quite a significant role in our lives.
Tracey:
No, they still equally as important.
Dee:
Yeah. And there was so much again, going in and doing the research for those episodes so much, I didn't know about them and it really exciting to read more about it.
Tracey:
I can’t wait to hear that one, Dee, because we always think of new moon and full moon being the main ones.
Dee:
And they’re great starting points. If you want to start living more in tune with the lunar cycles and start with new moon then introduce the other ones as you get more comfortable.
Tracey:
I should also mention that for every new moon we are recording our new moon guided meditations. Please check them out for the next new moon. And they will be on our website. Again, we will email them to you. They are a guide through the new moon and what sign it is in and we do a guided meditation and a bit of journaling.
Check out your new moon wishes. Gosh, there’s a lot to do.
Dee:
Luckily we have the energy around the new moon. Also all of this stuff will just be sent to you so you don't even have to do anything.
Tracey:
We'll see you next time. Bye.
We produce a guided meditation for each new moon. Carve some time out around each new moon and have a listen on our website, Spotify or wherever you catch your podcasts.
